After countless weeks for this entire 4th Quarter, figuring out what to do with the script, storyboard, etc., my group and I managed to get the movie project done for our Intro. to Video class. The last few weekends we’ve screwed ourselves over because we didn’t reserve the camera and other equipment. Yesterday in Intro. to Video, Keene and I went over to his house to finish up the last few shots for the movie that we needed, and while Nikki and Carly stayed at the school to fix some audio problems and edit some of the scenes.
We thought the shots weren’t going to take us at least 30 mins., I think it took us longer than that, even because we’ve had some problems getting onto I-35W because one of the ramps was closed. Then Keene past one of the exits that we were supposed to get on to get to his place. Man, felt sorry for Keene. If I was in his shoes, I would call myself a jackass for doing that, and make fun of myself, which Keene kind of did anyways. But we managed to get those shots done and the pictures of Keene, Baumgarcner, and I for the poster.
Today I finally got the poster done for our movie and printed it in a 11×17 glossy poster paper. I also had the time to make the three songs (like I said in the last blog) and we were able to use them. So Keene took me home yesterday in order for me to give him the songs so he can put them into the movie. Anyways, about the poster, everything looks terrific. However, I had a hard time trying to fix the lighting on Keene. The lighting in the original image of him was awkward, and I tried not to make him look orange. Otherwise the poster is spectacular!
Didn’t have a whole lot of school today because the Quarter is ending on the 15th (for me anyways). Come on time! Just two more days! I loafed around school for a while till my Literature class started so I can turn in my Lit. Portfolio/Log. After I got that accomplished, I had two more hours till my Math class started. So, I did my once-every-two-weeks- walk to Target Center. Then I went on over to the Gaviidae Commons and got some Manchu Wok. The best Chinese food in downtown! Then went back to the school to turn in my report for Math, and then went home.
Yesterday before Intro to Video class started, I noticed that the bulletin boards around the school have these free ticket admittance to that Think Big Day with Donald Trump, George Foreman, and others. It’s going to be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center this Thursday from 8am to 4:45pm. I would like to go to it, but not sure if I have the time to because I get my Literature Log back on that day. So I decided to take one of those free ticket admittance just in case if I change my mind. Besides, I can always leave early from the event in order to get my Lit. Log.
