The King of Kong

An awesome documentary movie about two guys who are essentially the greatest Donkey Kong players of all-time. Hell, I can barely pass the first level of the game and they can get to the kill zone, but I still love the game nonetheless. Billy Mitchell held the best score record of Donkey Kong for over 20 years, until a challenger named Steve Wiebe beat Billy’s high score with over 900,000 in front of a good-sized crowd. However, Steve celebration was short when Billy came back to achieve an impossible score of over 1,040,000. But, in August 2006, Steve beat Billy’s highest score of over 1,040,000 with a total amount of close to 1,050,000 points, and still holds that record today.

I give this documentary film a 5 out of 5 stars; this is clearly the best video game documentary film I have ever seem by far. So, if you haven’t seen this film yet, this is a must see!
