Frank the Tank Shoots Down Arguments in Texas/Big Ten Issue

Texas LonghornsJust a few days ago, Frank the Tank wrote a huge article shooting down many arguments in the Texas/Big Ten debacle, so long that he stated that it’s longer than “Greg Oden’s third leg”, which made me chuckle. He makes 12 arguments and shoots down many pundits and bloggers arguing against the Texas-to-Big Ten movement. Although I’d like to see a Texas-Mizzou-Rutgers addition to the Big Ten, I’m strongly behind Frank the Tank on adding Texas to the Big Ten.

Some say that Texas might become independant, but the question that many forget is that would an independent status benefit Texas?

Take an example from Notre Dame and there TV contract with NBC, and compare the rumors with those thinking that the Longhorns might create their own network. Would they be able to get their network into many household across the country and would they be able to receive more money and exposure that they currently have in the Big XII? These are the questions that many of the pundits and bloggers should be thinking and giving their opinions on.

But without a further-a-do-, here’s a link to Frank the Tank’s article.
