I noticed yesterday when I got to work was that Firefox has been doing beta tests on v4 (version 4) of its browser. It looked pretty enticing and decided to give the beta test a shot, and downloaded it onto my work computer. I also found out that they’ve released a beta version of the browser for mobile phones, which is what I’ve been looking forward to since I got my Droid phone back in June; so I installed the Firefox mobile browser onto my phone as well.

Nerd Talk: YouTube 3D
3D has now started to become something that I really enjoy and really can’t get enough of. My first 3D Full-Length Feature Film I saw was ‘Clash of the Titans’, which I thought was pretty good, even though they rushed the 3D conversion in post production. I then saw two more films in 3D, ‘Legend of the Guardians’ and ‘Jackass 3D’, and both experiences have much improved since I saw ‘Clash of the Titans’. So far, IMAX 3D formats has been a better experience than Real D 3D when it comes to seeing films in 3D. I’m hooked to the format so much, that I purchased an Aiptek flip cam that can record video and take photos in 3D (which I’ll discuss more on my next installment of Nerd Talk). I wanted to see more 3D films, but had limited access to it. I started surfing around the interwebs until I stumbled upon something that surprised me: that YouTube does 3D.

Prison Planet.com

On March 1, Ryan Singel, writing for Wired, accused the government of plotting to destroy the open and freedom-loving internet. Readers of Infowars and Prison Planet have known this for some time, but it is nice to know a quasi-establishment publication is now telling the truth and warning its readers about the threat to liberty posed by the government.

PSN Error & Some More PS3 Goodness
As “Fat” PS3 owners (I myself own the big-ass piece of contraption) and non-PS3ers know about the Error 8001050F Saga, or as I like to coin the name of this saga in PlayStation’s history, the PS3 Clock Glitch Saga, just to give it a fancy, more meaningful name. Many owners of the Fat-ass PS3 discovered that their system’s clock made a hard reset to December 31st, 1999, and for those that were playing a game with trophies during that time, pretty much found out that their trophy collection to that game were corrupted. Thus, their trophy data is lost and is not retrievable. You can see a clear example in the above video where one of the IGN employees was playing God of War III on the Fat PS3 and noticed that the entire trophy collection to GOW3 has been corrupted.
