PSN Error & Some More PS3 Goodness

psn

As “Fat” PS3 owners (I myself own the big-ass piece of contraption) and non-PS3ers know about the Error 8001050F Saga, or as I like to coin the name of this saga in PlayStation’s history, the PS3 Clock Glitch Saga, just to give it a fancy, more meaningful name. Many owners of the Fat-ass PS3 discovered that their system’s clock made a hard reset to December 31st, 1999, and for those that were playing a game with trophies during that time, pretty much found out that their trophy collection to that game were corrupted. Thus, their trophy data is lost and is not retrievable. Man, it’s been several months since my last post, which was about Adobe CS4. So it’s time for another HUGE Random News! My Own Playstation 3

ps3

After a year since the release of the Playstation 3 and reporting on the release at the Nicollet Target store in Downtown Minneapolis, I now have my own Playstation 3! I purchased the 40GB version with the free Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray movie. I know that some of you are trying to say to me on why I didn’t get the 60GB with the backwards compatibility. Well, I originally was planning on getting one, but after much debate with myself, i know that I didn’t even play any PSOne games and rarely any PS2 games (the God of War series, Guitar Hero, the Kingdom Hearts series, and Final Fantasy XII are the only games I’ve played on the PS2). So I though it was better off to just save $100, especially for a console that plays Blu-Ray movies. If I decide to play one of the games that I’ve already played on the PS2, I can just go and get a PS2 for a little over $100.

PS3 Day

ps3_people

Yes, that’s right, I woke up earlier than I usually do to witness the launch of the Playstation 3. I woke up around 6am and grabbed my digital camera and my palm pilot to write down on my experience. What I was originally doing was to get up early and watch what floor in the Target store was going to open first, since there are two floors to this downtown store.
